To his peers and protégés at Columbia Business School, Mark Broadie is known for his expertise in Security Pricing: Models and Computation, Computational Finance, and Programming for Business Research. His research interests include the pricing of derivative securities, risk management and, more generally, quantitative methods for decision-making under uncertainty.
But to members of golf’s firmament, his pioneering analytics have radically altered the game. We've put together a special event with the "Godfather of Golf Analytics" that includes a round of Golf at the newly renovated Bobby Jones Golf Club.
Please make plans to join us for this unique event.
Dress Code
Our setting is casual - we'll be in the temporary club house. Golf attire is suggested for both those playing golf and those just attending the presentation.
11:45 AM - 12:15 PM - Program
There's a lot of insight you can get from data. Financial investing is about risk and reward. You want to measure your performance relative to an appropriate Benchmark to see whether you're doing better or worse than average. That's common between finance and golf. Join us for this unique presentation on applying golf analytics to investment decision making.
12:15 PM - Upscale Box Lunch
Enjoy conversation and networking with friends while enjoying our upscale box lunch before going to the practice tees and putting green or exploring the golf complex. Not playing golf, take the afternoon to explore The Nature Park at Bobby Jones.
