Principles of High Performance with William F. Sweeney

Bill Sweeney is President and founder of WFS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS, INC. With an extensive history in leading and sustaining high-performance teams, he is passionate about the critical role of leadership in creating engaged and committed employees, satisfied customers and superior business results.

Through use of a case study of a high performance organization, Bill Sweeney will highlight the characteristics of high performance organizations, define common behaviors of leadership in high performance organizations and share  the steps that can be taken as an individual and leader to foster a high-performance organization.

The lecture is based on research by 360 Solutions, The University of Michigan and is laced with his own experience as an executive in the pharmaceutical industry.

Bill has held a number of senior leadership positions during a highly successful corporate career, including Corporate Officer / Vice President of the US Division of a multi-national pharmaceutical company. Reflective of his ability to manage change, he was selected to serve as interim Vice President, Sales for the largest division of Genentech during the relocation of corporate headquarters. His leadership resulted in significant market share improvement with renewed employee commitment against the backdrop of a rapidly changing market and corporate culture.
